1 / What should I wear to my lessons?
Any outfit that you are comfortable moving in works well. Bring a pair of indoor shoes and ideally bring the shoes you plan to wear at your wedding to at least one of the practices.
2 / How can I pay for my lessons?
We accept e-transfers sent to echarlton316@gmail.com, cash, or cheque. Payments should be made in full prior to - or at - the first lesson. Lessons are not taxed, so what is written by each wedding package is the total fee.
3 / Where do my lessons take place?
Lessons take place in one of three rental locations: North Woodside Community Centre, Halifax Dance, or House of Eights. The location that's used depends on availability and which is the most convenient for you. This will be confirmed via email prior to your first lesson.
4 / What is your refund policy?
Refunds will be issued in full if a package is cancelled with more than 24 hours notice before the first lesson and prior to the payment of the studio rental fee.
5 / Are prices listed per person or per couple?
All package prices are for the time slot, therefore it is for the couple. If you chose to add an extra lesson to a package, the additional price is still for the couple but does not change if only one of you attends the lesson.
6 / How long is each lesson and how do we book?
Each lesson is 45 minutes long. Send us an email and we will find a time that works best for you based on studio availability.
7 / My wedding's in 2 weeks, can I still get lessons?
Yes, we will still be able to help you get your dance together in time for your wedding. The only tricky part will be guaranteeing that there is a studio available for you since these tend to book quickly. If no studio is available we can come to you.
8 / We have no dance experience, which package should we book?
Typically, the 6 lesson package is enough to get you confident in your routine regardless of prior experience. If you would prefer the security of more time then the 10 lesson package is a great option. You can always add on an extra lesson at the end of your package too!
9 / What happens if I miss a lesson?
If a lesson is missed without notice there will be a rescheduling fee equal to that of the rental fee. If notice is given at least 24 hours before the lesson then the lesson will be rescheduled free of charge.
